In this Celebration of Dancing Bundle, you're going to get lifetime access to three of my all-time favorite choreographies + an intro to Mayurbhanj Chhau.

Mayurbhanj Chhau is my forte and a powerful dance form from the state of Orissa, India. It has been in practice for centuries now and I am going to give you a taste of this MAJESTIC artform.

Here's what the course includes:

Class 1— Intro and Warm Up: This is an overview of basic techniques of Mayurbhanj Chhau. As a lot of you know that my forte is Mayurbhanj Chhau and I use a lot of elements of Chhau in my contemporary and commercial work. This class would provide you an understanding of the correct postures of Chhau and would help you learn my choreographies a little faster.

Class 2— Kasoor: This is a choreography class on the song Kasoor. It is a beginner/semi-intermediate contemporary session. The choreography revolves around the lyrics as well as the rhythm patterns. WARM UP is a must before attempting this class.

Class 3— Jogi: This is a power packed choreography class on the song Jogi by MC Punjabi. Its a beginner freestyle/Punjabi Funk session which requires a lot of energy and has various staccato movements. You would need to know the song and the rhythm pattern by heart for this class. I would suggest listening to the song as much as you can. Pay attention to the rhythm running at the back. WARM UP is a must !!!!

Class 4— Ang Laga De: This is a graceful choreography on the song Ang Laga De Re. The vocabulary is derived from Chhau so technique class is a MUST. Focus more on postures while learning the choreography. Also feeling the music is very important. Don’t forget to WARM UP before class.
